How much is the referral bonus?*
Fall Enrollment - $2,000.00 USD
Spring Enrollment** - $1,000.00 USD
*ABC reserves the right to change the commission amount at its discretion.
**If the Spring enrollment student re-enrolls successfully with an ABC partner school in the subsequent year, you will earn another $1,000.00 USD.
Who can I refer to ABC?
You can refer close friends and non-immediate family members who are high school students looking to studying abroad at one of ABC’s partner schools and:
· Have never previously applied for any service(s) with ABC,
· Enroll in a Fall or Spring semester, and
· Pay for all ABC services in full.
What are the age limits for the students I refer?
Students vary in age but generally high school aged students between 14 and 18.
Are there any qualifications for me as the referrer?
Yes. You must be at least 18 years old and not an ABC affiliate or employee.
Can I refer the same student twice and earn two referral bonuses?
No, you can only refer a student once and earn one referral bonus for that student, up to $2,000.00 USD.
What happens if two people refer the same student?
Only one person can receive a referral bonus, up to $2,000.00 USD, per qualified student. ABC reserves the right to decide who is the rightful recipient of the referral bonus in the case that more than one person refers the same student.
How do I receive the referral bonus?
If we notify you that you are eligible to receive a referral bonus, you must complete a W8/W9 tax form, and provide us with your direct deposit information to receive your bonus. You will be responsible for the payment of all taxes related to the bonuses received. You will be contacted up to a maximum of three times after you have earned the referral bonus. The referral bonus shall be deemed forfeited by you if you do not complete necessary documents within ten calendar days after ABC’s third contact attempt. Processing fees may apply.
How often is the referral bonus paid out?
Referral bonuses will be paid out twice a year. For students who enrolled in Fall semester, you will be notified in mid-October. For students who enrolled in Spring semester, you will be notified in mid-February.
